I am trying to organize a project to help bring food and other personal items to iraq and afghanistan. i plan to have it in school. I just dont know how to send it there? If you have done this before, can you explain the process and the costs?

Um, our military is very well fed, so you don’t have to worry about that. Thank you for thinking of us though.

A better project would be comfort items like shampoo, Kool-aid packets, hard candy like Altoids and the like. If there’s a recruiting station near to you, ask the soldiers there how to organize this sort of thing.

Soldiers don’t need any foods. they are very well fed. In some cases, they have more than many civilians here in the US.
