Spana . asked:

4000 US soldiers have died and thousands more innocent Iraqis have been killed by the US military. The world shakes its head and wonders when the US will wake up to its mistake. Do the military privately acknowledge that the illegal attack on Iraq has been a disaster which has ruined the reputation of the US and stigmatised its military as a brutal human rights abusing force?

I don’t know anyone fighting in Iraq but I’d like to send someone a letter. Is there anyway I can acquire the name/address of a random soldier to mail a letter to?

Redneck McCain asked:

I think that the only answer is to pull out of Iraq. I don’t see anything good coming from being in there. It is costing us too much money and time. Time that could be spent on a better cause. No one deserves to die.
Many more will die if we stay in.
I didn’t want us to attack Iraq in the first place.

EyesWideShut asked:

Are they two different wars? I am kind of confused by that, can you explain it to me more?

I know that troops should be pulling out of Iraq sometime next year, but i heard that troops in Afghanistan will be there until 2025.

Can you clarify this for me please?

I plan on joining as a MP so I probably will be deployed to Afghanistan, if the whole 2025 thing is true.

DBrain asked:

Aside from what the politicians think, and how they think they can win the war in Iraq, how do YOU think this war can be won? Here is your chance to tell the world (even the President) how this war can be won. Obviously, you must take into account our current state of affairs, including all the lives that have already been lost and the potential for more lives to be lost. This question is for a military solution alone. I will post a separate question for a political solution, if there could be one.

Mr Innocent asked:

I can still hear Americans claim that their troops in Iraq are still protecting America, which sounds odd in my ears. Isn’t the war in Iraq already won by the Americans?
