There has been much talk lately about our troops coming home and to Afghanistan LOL, but one key note issue is the revaluing of that countries currency.

From what I can see, and I am by no means an expert by any stretch, the 2nd largest oil reserve resides in Iraq territory, before the war, the Iraqi Dinar rivaled that of the U.S. and considering our debt and everything else issue *Shrugs shoulders, and finally, re-evaluation is a must for a sovereign nation such as Iraq.

Therefore my question is more so a when then if. And please I need critics to pull out all the stops and tell me why this is totally impossible please… I’m personally thinking 1st quarter 2012.

Also, can someone explain to me the re-value process and how that it may take months to years until their currency is back to “normal.”

Lastly, any and all info you may have on this particular subject will be greatly appreciated!!!

Sal L asked:

Can someone please help me out. I have been hearing a lot from people (friends and family) about investing in Iraqi Dinars. You can currently purchase 1 million dinars for around $1100. the idea is that with the US pulling out of Iraq the economy will eventually turn around, thus causing deflation and making the dinars worth more money. It all makes sense to me and seems like there isn’t too much of a risk.

My concern arises from the fact that the whole thing just seems too good to be true. Can somebody please give me a reason NOT to invest in this.

Thank you

I keep looking at Daddydinar.com and other websites and they are all either confusing, misleading or they post something they copied and paste from years ago…could someone give me accurate information and not just a personal opinion or speculation?
FYI I bought the Dinar from a local bank, the same bank that I’ve done business since 1997, the same bank that handles my Federal student loans, financed my new car and handles my direct deposits.

All i have been hearing from friends is to buy some dinar off of ebay and it will turn around fast. Why would people sell dinar if it was gonna make them rich? What kind of scam is this if any?

I know almost nothing about the currency market, but I heard Iraq is changing their currency and reevaluating it ive heard people talking about how they are going to make loads off of it. Can someone explain a little about the currency market ( im big in the stock market, so i know all the basics) and if it is a wise investment. thank you

If your answering this question you probably know about the iraqi dinar value going up. It seems pretty sketchy i just wanted to know what you thought the chances of this happening are. Supposedly he invested like $1000 in to this i don’t really trust and im trying to tell him that he shouldn’t invest that much, but his mind is already. I plan on investing like $100 because as the saying goes nothing ventured nothing gained besides if these predictions are true should be getting money back in the 5 figures
